Identified - The CDC Portal is currently experiencing intermittent availability. This is due to a 3rd party integration which is itself suffering from technical issues, causing API timeouts for us. We are working on a mitigation on our side while the 3rd party is also looking to resolve their issue.
Phone lines and email are completely unaffected by this incident, so please continue to use the standard contact details to reach us for support at this time.

Investigating - CustodianDC have identified intermittent connectivity between ourselves and Redcentric at Byfleet.
We are currently engaging Redcentric support to investigate the issue. Our initial investigations point to a problem being within their network.
Customers with services between CDC and BYF or GAT will be seeing intermittent connectivity issues due to the current instability of Redcentric.
CustodianDC will continue to monitor services and push for updates between us and Redcentric.
We will publish an update as soon as we have more detail.

After further monitoring for a period of time, we have not identified any further issues with the service.

Scheduled - Redcentric will be performing cable migrations from an old patch panel system to a new one at Byfleet (BYF).
They will be performing this in two windows to minimise disruption.
The services that can be affected during the planned works are, all IP transit, some L2, L3 and DC interconnects. These will be ones that connect via Redcentric network and are presented as copper in the rack, fibre presentation will not be affected.
The work will be completed in 2 stages, Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th of Feb.
Customers with space at BYF may be affected by this window for either IP Transit or interconnects on copper due to the nature of their works.
Please consider at least one connection to be affected during this window.

Scheduled - Engineers from Riello will be performing a UPS service across a number of our systems that supply DFx at our Maidstone facility. Each feed will be worked on separately, and each UPS will be switched to bypass only after the load has been transferred to our generator farms. Although minimal, customers should consider one of their power feeds to be ‘at-risk’ during the period detailed above. Customers with diverse power supplies will only have one feed at risk at any given time, diverse feeds at our facility come from different ATS+UPS chains and are totally independent. This is an at-risk notification only, we do not expect any customer impact during these works.
