Wij begrijpen dat, gezien de huidige crisis, u en uw medewerkers vragen hebben. Wij willen u echter verzekeren dat onze diensten op geen enkel moment in gedrang komen. Zowel onze private als public cloud klanten kunnen gerust zijn dat onze dienstverlening 24/7 operationeel blijft.

Onze prioriteiten zijn de gezondheid van onze medewerkers die vandaag thuiswerken en het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van onze dienstverlening. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat we hier samen sterker uit zullen komen.

Scheduled - During the change window of Thursday, April 9 maintenance work will be carried out on the servers on our own datacenter of phase A. During this process, the servers will be rebooted several times. Servers running on the Azure datacenters are not impacted.

This maintenance will be carried out on Thursday, March 12 in Acceptance and on Thursday, May 7 on the servers of phase B.

Several management agent will be upgraded. Please contact your technical contact for more information about this maintenance or its impact on your environment.

TLS 1.2 enforcement on Citrix environment

Update - On Thursday evening, we have enforced TLS 1.2 on one of our NetScaler’s (Citrix gateway component). Due to this change, we see an increase on our Support of clients who cannot connect to their applications. If you or your client are receiving a “SSL error 4” error, you must update the citrix client on your device. To view a (variation) of the error message, have a look at https://downloads.aspex.be/sslerror4.png

To update the citrix client on Windows devices, we advise to first use the “Citrix Receiver Cleanup utility” to completely remove the current installation. You can download it here: https://downloads.aspex.be/ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe. Afterwards, you can install the latest version of the citrix client manually. You can download it from: https://www.citrix.nl/downloads/citrix-receiver/windows/receiver-for-windows-latest.html
It is important to close all your browser windows (internet explorer, google chrome, firefox, edge) before performing the installation.

Update - We would like to remind you that on Thursday, March 12, we will start with the enforcement of TLS 1.2 on our citrix environment. Make sure that you and your clients are using a citrix client that allows TLS 1.2.

Scheduled - On March 12, 2020, we will start enforcing TLS 1.2 on our citrix environment. This means that we will not allow connections made by TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1. Make sure that you and your clients are using a citrix client that allows TLS 1.2.

Symantec Email Security issue with sending mails

Monitoring - Due to an issue with the Symantec Email Security system of one of our email providers some mails sent from hosted applications might not be deliverable.

Our third party provider is currently investigating the issue.

Monitoring - At around 9:45 a portion of citrix users experienced a disconnect from the servers.

The issue is resolved at this time and users can reconnect and should be able to log back into their existing session.

Aspex is currently monitoring the situation with our network provider.

Windows DNS Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Scheduled - Yesterday, Microsoft released a patch for a vulnerability in their Windows DNS Server. It has received an CVSS score of 10. This is the highest number possible, so very critical.

We will install the necessary patches on our DNS infrastructure this evening through emergency procedures.

Scheduled - During the weekend of August 7-9 , we will perform maintenance on our loadbalancer infrastructure on our datacenter. If you are running your Cloud services on the Azure platform, you can ignore this maintenance message.

Impact: during the maintenance, we will perform some failovers. During the following windows, you can expect some outage on web portals, citrix and RDS connections:
* Friday August 7, 21h – 22h30
* Saturday August 8, 21-22h30

Technical: we will perfrom an upgrade of the loadbalancers software.
